Christmas Jumper Day Initiative!

On Friday 13th December, St. Aidan's decided to have a Christmas Jumper themed non uniform day in aid of Simon Community.

Staff and students donated €2 and wore in their Christmas Jumpers/Shirts/Hats and even dresses!

It was a fun filled day all in aid of helping the homeless. As well as the Christmas Jumpers there was also a Christmas Raffle with Christopher Daly from St. Dara's (first year) winning the first prize hamper! Nathan Kenny from St Eve's also won prizes as well as Aoife Prentice from St. Joan's, and Ms. Sheehan and Mr. Fernandez. There was a fantastic atmosphere around the school.

Christmas Jumper dress up was encouraged and we had a prize for best dressed which went to Ms. Dunne who made a huge effort and looked brilliant.

We managed to fundraise over €475 which was then donated to Simon Community who we had been working with throughout the month of December with the Christmas Care Packs.

Well done to all involved.
