Library Studies Christmas lunch

Library Studies Christmas lunch

Today, the 9/12/20, the first year Library Studies class had their inaugural Christmas lunch with Mr O'Brien. Pizza was kindly provided by our wonderful librarian, Ms.Flynn. Mr O'Brien sampled the pizza first to make sure it was ok and it wasn't too hot. He's always thinking of the students first is sir.

Library Studies has been ongoing since the start of the academic year. Like so much more activities in the school, it has been hampered by Covid. One of the pieces of work the students have been engaged with is the reading of Sarah Crossan's Moonshine. Today, we had a third year student, Ben Coyne, come in and speak about the book as it's one of his favorites. Some students, in recognition for their onging great work, received presents from Ms.Flynn including the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid, as seen in the pictures with Margaret. All in all, a lovely lunch and the only thing missing was Ms.Flynn herself. Many thanks .
