Monday 27th of January there was a Kahoot Book Quiz open to all students during lunchtime. There was a great turnout and the winners were as follows:

1st Place: "The Two Bens" Ben Quirke and Ben Coyne

2nd Place: "The teletubbies" mixture of 3rd and 5th Year Girls

3rd Place: Abbie Hopkins

Tuesday 28th of January First Year Students took part in GoConqr Mind Map exercise where students had to work together using the app to create a mind map around a novel they have read.

Thursday 30th January Storytelling

Neill De Burca storyteller visited the school and told scary, funny and interesting tales to students and staff! Students were very inspired and even left the event with ideas for their English CBA1!

Friday 31st January- Prizegiving

Ms Quigley announced the winners and participants of all events during TLC class and they were given prizes such as €20 vouchers for The Square as well as tickets to see Blood Brothers. Our Accelerated Reader word millionaires also won tickets to go to the production of Blood Brothers at The Bord Gais Energy Theatre.

Well done to all involved and thank you to Ms Flynn St Aidan’s Librarian, Mr Casey and the English Department for all the organising. We already cannot wait for Literacy Week 2021!!
