ACE (Access to College Education)-

Accessing College Education is a second level access programme which was developed to support students from the three participating schools in West Tallaght (St Aidan's Community School ,Mount Seskin Community College, Killinarden Community School) to complete their leaving cert and progress onto third level.

ACE is an initiative that provides a range of supports to a targeted group of Leaving Certificate students.

Students are selected for the programme on the basis of academic achievement and attendance.

Additional Classes after School, Supervised Study, Easter Revision Classes, Oral Language Examination and Study Skills Workshops are provided.

Here in SACS, Ms Mahony is the ACE Coordinator and the teachers supervising after school study are Mr.Casey, Mr O’Brien, Ms McGuinness and Ms O’Connor.

The Student Council ran an initiative for the month of December in aid of helping the homeless with Simon Community They organised and mad 85 Christmas Care Packs for the homeless and fundraised €475
